Hadis Nabi

Petang Islam, pagi kafir semula”. Sahabat bertanya lagi, “Mengapa begitu ya Rasullullah?”. Rasullullah SAW menjawab, “sebab dia menjual agamanya dengan nilai dunia”.

From E-mail - Ingatan

Dear Friends,

I would like to share something with all of you. Maybe some of you have heard about this story or read in the papers but I believe most of you have never heard or aware about it.

You might receive a phone call from “bank officer” claiming that you have outstanding credit card balance or some other problem with your bank account etc. The “officer” will create a story to make you believe somebody has misused you ID, credit card etc. Then in order to make you believe some more, “the officer” will tell you that he/she will make a report to Bank Negara (Credit card fraud centre). Then you will be given the Bank Negara phone number and ask you to call the number. Of course when you call the number, you will hear a greeting voice like “Selamat datang ke Bank Negara Malaysia, sila tekan 1 untuk bahasa Malaysia, tekan 2 untuk bahasa inggeris etc..) until you are connected to another “officer”.

The “officer” will ask all of your details including your account balance and at the end willing to help you to save your bank account by blocking your account(s).

How the “officer” helps you to block your account(s)?

The “officer” will ask you to go to any ATM and then she/he will call your handphone to assist you. Once you entered your ATM card, the “officer” takes control of the ATM machine. You will be required to key in your IC no. etc .She/he will give instruction to transfer the money (as if to secure your money lah) to some other account. For the amount, you will be required to key in something like RM00.00 (as if no value lah).

After one card finish, then the “officer” will ask you to continue with your other ATM cards. At the end she/he will remind you not to use your ATM cards within 3 days in order for “bank Negara” to trace for any transaction, so that “bank Negara” could catch the criminal.

Actually the “bank Negara” is the criminal! After the bank is contacted, the real officer will tell you that for any circumstances, bank will never ask you to refer to bank Negara and the bank will actually send you a letter rather than call you! Now you will realize that you have been cheated.

Once your money transferred to the third party account, the money will be withdrawn immediately. Later once you realize it, your bank could not able to do anything. However you need to cancel your ATM card or your bank account and apply for a new one.

This is true story and just happened here in Senawang. So pls keep in mind of this story and pls share to others. Do not be the next victim! Do not entertain any call related to banking or you will end up in disappointment.

Rgds.
